Todd Trehubenko is an Executive Managing Director for M&T Realty Capital Corporation (M&T RCC), as part of the Agency Production team. An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, he is responsible for originating affordable and market-rate housing finance transactions across the United States and is a member of M&T Bank’s Affordable Housing Advisory Council. Todd also serves in a regional role for M&T RCC. As a Regional Sales Manager he is the primary point of contact for M&T Bank offices located throughout New England with respect to FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and other sources of financing for real estate owners and operators.
Todd is a former Vice Chairman of CBRE’s Debt & Structured team. In that capacity, he financed over $1.36 billion in apartment loans and became the firm’s all-time leader in FHA multifamily loan originations. In addition to senior positions at multifamily lenders CW Capital and Walker & Dunlop, he was also previously the CEO of boutique housing consultancy Recap Real Estate Advisors, advising multifamily developers on complex property and portfolio transactions.
Throughout Todd’s career, he has been a strong advocate for affordable and sustainable housing. Career highlights include testifying before the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services, advising the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on an array of housing and energy improvement finance matters, and serving for many years on the task force advising Fannie Mae on the development and implementation of its highly successful Green Financing programs.
A long-time resident of Medfield Massachusetts, Todd co-chairs the Medfield Foundation Legacy Fund charitable initiative and since 2018 has served as the Chair of the Medfield State Hospital Development Committee, a public-private redevelopment initiative and recipient of the Massachusetts Municipal Association’s Kenneth Pickard Innovation Award. He is a graduate of Fordham University in New York City.
